The ruins of most places are usually seen as rubble of useless junk, with nothing of value and nothing to preserve for posterity. But this is definitely not the case with the city of Ephesus. For the reason that this city has a very fascinating history, marked by a strong legendary background, and is famous for its reputation as one of the seven wonders of the ancient world; archeologists and other scientists have worked assiduously for many years to reconstruct it from the ruins.It was considered a very fascinating city with some of the most impressive architecture of the Bronze Age. Secondly, it was also one of the cities with a direct link to the foundation of the Christian ministry. It was in this very city that the Apostle Paul of the Greek scriptures made a powerful exhortation about the need for his spiritual brothers and sisters to live up to their Christian dedication. This counsel and its message are still applicable to us today, and have been preserved for us, in the Bible book of Ephesus.
